The following short-term proposals from the Strategic Plan 2019-2024 have been successfully accomplished, while others are still in progress:

1. NEP Envisages Degree Awarding Institute: 

• Our long-term plan is to align with the NEP’s vision by establishing our institution as a degree-awarding institute. This involves expanding our curriculum to be more multidisciplinary, enhancing research capabilities, and investing in advanced infrastructure and technology. By focusing on these areas, we aim to meet NEP standards and provide high-quality, future-ready education  

2. Expand Academic Programs and Offerings  

• Develop New Degree Programs

  : Introduce new undergraduate and postgraduate programs in emerging fields.  

• Enhance Interdisciplinary Studies

  : Promote interdisciplinary programs that integrate multiple fields of study, encouraging broader academic exploration and innovation.  

3. Strengthen Research and Innovation  

• Establish Advanced Research Centers

  : Set up dedicated research facilities in key areas like renewable energy, biotechnology, and social sciences to drive cutting-edge research.  

• Promote Research Collaboration:

  Build strategic partnerships with leading universities and research institutions globally to enhance research opportunities and publications.  

4. Upgrade Infrastructure and Facilities  

• Complete Campus Infrastructure Projects

  : Finish construction of a new auditorium, seminar halls, and advanced laboratories to support diverse academic and extracurricular activities.  

• Expand Technological Resources:

  Invest in next-generation educational technology, including virtual reality and artificial intelligence tools, to enhance teaching and learning experiences.  

5. Enhance Student and Faculty Development  

• Launch Professional Development Programs

  : Introduce comprehensive training programs for faculty and staff, including leadership development, pedagogical innovations, and industry-relevant skills.  

• Increase Student Exchange and Internship Opportunities

  : Expand international exchange programs and industry internships to provide students with global exposure and real-world experience.

  Develop and integrate more online learning resources and platforms to support remote and flexible learning options for students.  

8. Achieve National and International Accreditation

• Pursue Additional Accreditations:

  Work towards obtaining further national and international accreditations to ensure the quality and recognition of our academic programs.  

• Improve Rankings and Recognition

  : Implement strategies to achieve higher rankings in national and international education assessments.  

9. Develop a Comprehensive Campus Safety and Wellness Program 

• Establish a Health and Wellness Center

  : Create a dedicated center for student and faculty wellness, offering counselling, fitness programs, and health services.

  Implement advanced security systems and protocols to ensure a safe and secure learning environment.
